Silent Enemy is a musical short film based on Black Sun's new concept album, which served as inspiration for Director and Writer Gustavo Arguello to develop this project along with Black Sun.
The story narrates, along with a musical background, the journey of John Doe through turbulent times, ultimately reaching an understanding of oneself when the film's message is revealed late within the story.
Silent Enemy is of independent production and was filmed and produced in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Moreover, the film’s soundtrack, which is the cornerstone of the project, is a work born from the collaboration between Finnish producer Nino Laurenne and Black Sun.
Produced and recorded between Ecuador and Finland, while adding music score arrangements by Topias Kupiainen and featuring several Finnish artists, the soundtrack paved the way for the film’s creative environment.
A Black Sun and Bobui Studios Production, this film paves the way for experimentation and rediscovery of the musical film concept.
